Another day of preparations in Nelson’s Dockyard getting the tents ready and we can barely get the T-shirts and merchandise out of the boxes before we are swamped (reminded me of opening the boot of your car at a Car Boot Sale!!!).
A beautiful sunny day again with charter guests turning up throughout their day being escorted to the yachts ready for the racing that Starts on Saturday after two training days to home those skills and train the less familiar sailors.
Welcome drinks in our tent at 6pm attract our guests in their droves and Cold Carib and Rum cold rum punch flow with conversation of the week ahead. There is talk of race tack ticks from a few… but most want to know where and when the parties are! I leave the party early to help out Pri (our star T-Shirt and Kit printer) with some last minute orders that goes on till 11pm - so no partying for me tonight ;-( at this rate, I’ll have the guys in our Gosport office in tears for me). First training day tomorrow, so hopefully a little more to report.
